Rodrigue’s Blue Dog is one of my all-time favorite art lessons to teach. I just did it with my ‘Spotlight on Famous Artists” class, with kids from 2nd to 6th grade. I did it as a guided drawing lesson, the students used oil pastels for the whole drawing (love the vivid, messy process!), and they all came out great!
