Third grade students are at the magical age of art-making. They have acquired quite a few skills and are able to handle projects that are longer in scope like mixed-media and collage art. They know how to draw well and enjoy more detailed drawing projects. Most are adept at painting with both tempera and watercolor paints and are starting to produce complex pieces.
