In this lesson, students will create cozy critters snuggled down with a good book using a fun leaf-printing technique.

Students will paint and press real leaves to create overlapping prints, then draw an animal friend using the handouts provided and nestle it in its cozy fall hideaway.

They’ll explore printmaking and texture along the way while learning about space and emphasis.
