Nestled with a Book

Designed with standards for 4th Grade

In this cozy fall lesson, students will create critters snuggled down with a good book in a colorful leafy hideaway.

Students will paint and press leaves to create overlapping prints, then use the provided drawing guides to create their critter and tuck it into its leafy hideaway.

Along the way, they’ll explore printmaking while learning about space, emphasis and texture.
