DRAWING THE LEAF
Use your black marker to draw a leaf shape right in the middle of the paper. Then, just like Britto, break up the shapes in both the leaf and background into smaller sections using different types of lines.

ADDING COLOR
Now comes the fun part! Fill several of the smaller sections with bold, bright colors.
In large areas, instead of coloring in, add patterns with colored markers; think stripes, dots, swirls or zigzags – the more variety, the better!

Use the black marker to add repeating shapes on top of areas of solid color and empty spaces.
